The Institute of Directors of Zambia (IoDZ) successfully hosted its 2025 Training of Trainers Programme from 27 to 29 November 2025, a three day training that attracted over 20 participants from various professional backgrounds.
The Training of Trainers Programme is a capacity building initiative designed to equip prospective facilitators with advanced knowledge, delivery techniques and practical methodologies for conducting high quality corporate governance training. It strengthens the national pool of corporate governance experts by ensuring trainers are competent, consistent and aligned with IoDZ standards.
The programme was officially graced by the Chairperson of the Corporate Governance Development and Training Committee, Ms. Doris Sakupwanya, who emphasized the critical role that skilled trainers play in enhancing corporate governance practice across sectors.
Over the three days, participants engaged in immersive practical sessions, with 100% of attendees delivering individual presentations to demonstrate their facilitation skills.
This approach ensured measurable impact as participants showed improved confidence, stronger presentation abilities, and enhanced mastery of corpporate governance training content.
The programme concluded on a high note, reaffirming IoDZ’s commitment to building a strong pool of skilled governance facilitators capable of delivering impactful and high quality training across sectors.
